Early access · v0.3.0 beta · Windows

The node graph tool
Unreal doesn't have.

Describe what you need. GraphDeck generates a fully wired node graph with correct pin types, execution flow, and variable setup. Review it on canvas, then send it to Unreal. Blueprints and Materials today, more modes coming.

How it works

1

Describe what you need

Type what you're trying to do, or pick from the built-in prompt patterns.

2

Get a working graph

Not a list of nodes. A fully wired graph with correct connections, pin types, and execution flow. Auto-laid-out and ready to read through before you commit.

3

Send it to Unreal

Export copies native Unreal clipboard data. Paste straight into the Blueprint or Material editor. Want to skip the clipboard? The free Connector plugin deploys directly into your project.

The Connector plugin. Beta coming soon.

GraphDeck works perfectly with just the clipboard. The Connector plugin takes it further: deploy Blueprints and Materials straight from GraphDeck with a single button. Currently in development.

Free plugin. Drop it in, enable it, GraphDeck finds it automatically.
Two-way. Deploy from GraphDeck or pull assets back in for reference, editing, or AI explain.
Localhost only. No cloud, no telemetry, no internet required.

It's also a reference tool.

Save what works

Built something useful? Save it. Build up a personal collection of logic blocks and node setups you can pull from anytime, organised into folders and tagged how you like.

Round-trip editing

Paste existing nodes from Unreal into GraphDeck, rearrange or modify them, and paste back. Works both ways with native clipboard data.

Learn as you go

Every generated graph is fully wired: real nodes, real connections, correct pin types. Read through it, understand the logic, and learn how Unreal Engine systems fit together.

Understand any graph.

Generation is just the start. The same AI tools work on any graph you load: ones you generated, ones you pasted in from Unreal, ones you inherited from someone else.

Explain

Select a graph and the AI breaks it into colour-coded groups, each with a plain-language description of what it does and why. Works across multiple tabs, automatically switching between EventGraph, functions, and Construction Script.

?

Ask

Ask questions about what's on your canvas and get answers in context. "What happens when the player presses E?", "Could anything go wrong with this?", "How could I optimise this material?"

Extend

Select nodes and ask the AI to build from them. "Add sprint with stamina that drains and recharges." It reads what's already there, wires into your existing graph, and adds only what's needed.

You know what you want to build.
You just don't know the nodes.

You've done it before, or you've seen it in a tutorial. You just can't remember which nodes to use or how they connect. Describe it in plain English, and GraphDeck gives you the full graph.

Double jump with coyote time and a landing camera shake
Blueprint
Dissolve effect that burns inward from the edges using a noise texture
Material
Health system with damage flash, low health warning, and death event
Blueprint
Layered landscape material that blends grass, dirt, and rock by slope
Material
Door that opens when the player overlaps and closes after a delay
Blueprint
Holographic shader with animated scan lines and fresnel glow
Material
Save system that writes player stats and inventory to a slot
Blueprint
Glass material with refraction, tint colour, and adjustable opacity

Use it with or without an API key.

GraphDeck doesn't run its own AI service. You choose how the generation works.

Copy-prompt workflow

No API key needed

GraphDeck builds a detailed prompt for you. Copy it, paste into whatever AI you already use (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini), and paste the response back.

Works with any AI · Requires a free account with the AI provider

Direct API key

Optional

Plug in your own API key from Anthropic or OpenAI and generate directly inside GraphDeck. Faster if you're doing a lot of generation, and the cost per graph is fractions of a penny.

Your key · Your account · Stored locally · Pay per use

You choose what leaves your machine.

Standalone by default

Works without a plugin, without project access, without the engine running.

Local only

Clipboard or plugin, nothing leaves your machine. AI calls use your own keys.

No telemetry

No analytics, no tracking, no phone-home.

The AI never sees your project

It only receives node names, pin data, and what you type. Never your files, assets, or source code.

No lock-in

Everything GraphDeck creates is a standard Unreal Engine asset. Uninstall anytime. Nothing breaks.

Switch modes. Same workflow.

Each mode lives inside the same app. One install, one library, one interface. Just pick the graph type you're working with.

More on the way

GraphDeck isn't just for Unreal. If it's a node-based system with a clipboard or plugin path in, it's on the table.
